π v0.3.0 Release Notes
This release includes the following new features:
β²οΈ Change tempo while exercise is running
Now it is possible to change the tempo while the exercise is running. This is useful when you want to slow down the tempo to practice a difficult part of the exercise.
π€ Preventing screen from going to sleep while the exercise is running
The screen will not go to sleep while the exercise is running. This is useful when you are practicing and you donβt want to touch the screen to keep it awake.
π Range selection
Now there is a new dropdown menu to select the range of the exercise. The range is the number of notes that will be played in the exercise.

The app now comes wit the following ranges:
- Bass (E2 - C4)
- Baritone (G2 - E4)
- Tenor (B2 - G4)
- Alto (F3 - D5)
- Mezzo Soprano (A3 - F5)
- Soprano (C4 - A5)
- Free
π Free range
The Free range allows you to select the range of the exercise by selecting the start note. This is useful when you want to practice a specific part of the exercise. Use then the ascending β¬οΈ and descending β¬οΈ buttons to select the number of notes to play.
π Auto stop exercise
Now that the app allows the user to select ranges, the exercise will run until the end of the range. For instance, in the Baritone (G2 - E4) range, the exercise will play in ascending direction until the E4 note is played. Then it will automatically change to descending direction until the G2 note is played. After playing the G2 note the exercise will stop automatically.
In the Free range, the exercise will stop when the exercise returns to the start note.
ππΎββοΈ Enhanced One -> Three, One One waiting time
This exercise has been modified slightly to improve the waiting time between the first and second part of the exercise.
πΉ Playing chords as exercise queue
The first notes of the exercise are now played as a chord. This is useful to get a better sense of the tonality of the exercise.
π Capturing basic analytics
This version is capturing basic analytics to understand how the app is being used. This is useful to understand which exercises are more popular and which ones are not. This will help to improve the app in the future.
